There are tons to do downtown these days, and the holidays are no different. I recently went to enjoy the start of the winter markets and the Cadillac Lodge, and there were so many other things that were coming up, I had to share them with you. I know I won’t know all the events, but feel free to share something you want everyone to know about. Below are some holiday events happening this week.

Remix Detroit Holiday Takeover At this free and immersive music lab, there will be holiday-inspired beats. You will be able to experiment with melodies and lights by rearranging and altering illuminated spheres and turntables.

1001 Winter Dreams Enjoy a free whimsical experience at 1001 Winter Wonders. The jolly man in red will be awaiting your visit downtown at 1001 Woodward Avenue this winter season! Santa will be available for free photos, first come first served. Be sure to dress warm as lines for Santa will start outdoors. 1001 Winter Wonders is open from November 14 – December 24. Thurs – Fri: 4PM – 8PM Sat – Sun: 12PM – 4PM
*There is also a sensory friendly Santa experience that incorporates sensory adaptations and a wheelchair-accessible layout. The hours are different, and you need to pre-register to participate. November 20: 4PM – 7PM December 21: 5PM – 8PM

Fall Fest at Columbia Street by The District DetroitThe pedestrian-only Columbia Street is transformed into a picturesque urban pumpkin patch experience. The area is free and open to the public. Located on the same street as Jojo’s Shake Bar, Frita Batidos Detroit and Sahara Restaurant & Bar, there is plenty to see and experience in the area.
